Electric Energy from Swing Do it Yourself Kit For Student
Updated: May 1
There are infinite sources of energy all around us, from the sun in the sky to the waves in the ocean. All we need to do is harvest this energy and we'll power the planet forever. Sounds easy, right? Instead of explaining how they are using science to create a sustainable future, it would be more fun to demonstrate it. Based on the principle that swinging produces energy, as each swing moves back-and-forth by its user, the chain attached to it turns a dynamo—generating electricity to power the lighting below the floor. The swing set uses the kinetic energy generated by the swings to illuminate the word "infinity" when all seats are in motion.
OBSERVATION :
When we accelerate swing seat, swing moves back-and-forth, the Drive Shaft attached to it turns a dynamo—generating electricity to power the LED.
HOW IT WORKS:
You will notice that we have placed Iron plate below the swing seat, here Iron plate acts as a Mass or Weight To understand the relationship between gravitational forces and the mass of objects, the changes in speed and direction of objects, and the distance. Here Iron Plate (Mass behaves like a pendulums. When we the swing seat a little it move back and forth regularly like pendulums, such as a weight bouncing up and down on a swing, and the back and forth movement of radio waves.Swings work by converting potential energy into kinetic energy, then kinetic energy back into potential energy, over and over again. The kinetic energy is the fast part of swinging; it’s the speed you have as you rush back and forth. Potential energy is the high part of swinging. When we accelerate swing seat, swing moves back-and-forth, the Drive Shaft attached to it turns a dynamo—generating electricity to power the LED.
